This annual international event is held each August, and is a showcase of what is new and refreshed in the world of toys in Japan.

Part one and is focused on moving toys.

This is an infra red controlled Octopus, that moves by rotating its eight legs in either the same or different directions - tank style. Other features are touch sensor control and eyes that light up. Three Octopi can be used together to play football!

Plarail from Takara Tomy.

Plarail is a battery powered toy train set, that runs on plastic rail tracks and can be built into an infinite variety of layouts.
First launched in 1959 as a push along train on plastic tracks, but in 1961 it gained battery power and has remained the same since.
Takara Tomy claim that its train is so simple that even a 3-year-old child can enjoy playing and building a rail layout with their Grandparents.

Go Go Anpanman cycling from SEGA.

The Go Go is an interactive static bike that connects 2-5 year olds with a game on the TV screen. It provides a combination of enjoying exercise, education and play.. There is also sound play, which allows cycling and music, without a TV! There are 12 games to play, from patrolling with Anpanman to competitions and making bread.

The Miride S from Idesnet.

This is the Miride S, designed to represent the Children’s Bike from 2050, but available in the present.
It creates a story experience for children to encourage them to play outside more. So, not just a means of transport, but promotes the development of children's minds as well as body, all through experiences.
features of the Bike-
A Lighting core that gives the rider a mission.
A Flash trigger which produces flash beams from the lighting core.
A Burst Tail rear lighting unit that gives a sense of speed.
Cyclone wheels with lights that change depending on the speed you are traveling.
The frame size ranges from 22 to 24 inches.

This is the RC Poop from Doyusha and is basically a pile of poop that can be made to go backwards or forward and right. There is also a radio control toilet available from the same company.

Tomica at 55 from Takara Tomy

Tomica is celebrated its 55th anniversary by collaborating with designers from Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi and Suzuki, to produce special 55th designs..
On display were special versions of the Toyota Supra GT4 EVO, the Nissan Z NISMO, the Honda Civic TYPE R, the Mitsubishi Delica mini and the Suzuki Jimny.

Also on display was the Tomica GARAGE, for their Premium range of models.

Classic slope toy from Coconos.

This is an advanced building block game that involves you stacking a verity of milled wooden blocks, while keeping in mind the space where marbles will roll.
The wood used is milled from the offcuts of a manufacturing process using imported wood. The aim of the game is to combine three types of blocks, “road", "slope" and "dai", to make a ball road where marbles can roll down. Cocoons also say you can create a beautiful building.

Rolling Q from Gakken.

This is the Gakken New Block Rolling Q, a construction layout that teaches children large scale building skills and imagination.
The idea is to create a course that allows a ball to move along rails by gravity. New for this year is a spiral screw tower, that acts as an elevator and enables the whole layout to form a perpetual loop. This tower can be either hand or battery powered.

The Space Exploration! Cardboard Course Vehicle from Komamono.

This little “Komamono cardboard course vehicle” which runs on the edge of normal cardboard, just like a monorail. However, it’s climbing ability allows you to vary the slope and height of the track, to form a testing course.
The basic vehicle looks like a tank and you can customize it with stickers of symbols and writing. The target age is over 6 years of age,
