GESTATIONAL DIABETES MEAL PLAN | 32 WEEKS PREGNANT
I wanted to share what I'm eating a day with gestational diabetes controlled on diet. It was a shock when I was diagnosed because I didn't have it for my first pregnancy. After I understood it was related to the placental hormones and was given a diet to follow. I started feeling better but initially, I felt quite sick with the change of diet, but I hadn't started taking BSLs, so I'm not sure what they were. If I wasn't eating enough carbohydrates???
Once I started taking blood glucose levels, then I had a far better understanding about what increases my blood sugar levels and when was the best time of the day to exercise for 30 minutes. Any questions please feel free to ask, but this is my experience I am not a doctor, diabetes educator or dietician.
