Skylanders Swap Force introduced sixteen new Swap Force Skylanders into the mix: Wash Buckler, Blast Zone, Free Ranger, Freeze Blade, Night Shift, Magna Charge, Stink Bomb, Rattle Shake, Hoot Loop, Trap Shadow, Grilla Drilla, Spy Rise, Rubble Rouser, Doom Stone, Boom Jet and Fire Kraken.

The story of Skylanders Swap Force continued the adventures of Flynn, Cali and Eon against Kaos, Glumshanks and the other villains of the Skylands realm. Players of Skylanders Swap Force used the 'Portal of Power' to import real life toys into the video game to use and level up their powers.
