Shenzhen Dobot Corp. officially unveiled its six-legged bionic robot dog on Wednesday, making it the first company in the world to offer a tangible robotic platform that combines a robotic arm, humanoid form, and six-legged locomotion.

From a technical perspective, Dobot's six-legged robot dog features several groundbreaking innovations. For example, according to a media report, its inherently superior six-legged structure creates stable triangular support with three points of constant ground contact, significantly reducing posture fluctuations and offering rock-solid slip resistance.

It can also easily lift pulling forces nearly five times its own weight and release powerful kinetic energy to tackle heavy tasks.

With noise levels comparable to a library, its naturally low-impact gait ensures discreet and undisturbed work, the media report said.

A more agile ground contact strategy and coordinated multi-joint response enable it to navigate uneven and uneven terrain, including steep slopes.
