In this session, we begin our deep dive into the Kubernetes Gateway API, the modern successor to Ingress, designed to overcome its limitations and offer a more powerful, extensible, and role-oriented networking model.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of Gateway API and how its key building blocks — GatewayClass, Gateway, and Routes (HTTP, TCP, UDP, gRPC) — work together to provide a flexible way to expose and manage traffic into your Kubernetes clusters.
