Eurofighter Typhoon back seat trip | air to air refuel | RAF

This is a one-off video that I've had sat in my collection for almost 10 years, but to a Muse sound track and therefore un-sharable.

The flight started with an air to air, long-range simulation. followed by air-to-air refuelling. we then flew over Norfolk so I could have a go, but I knew the PIC switch was in the wrong position for this, so we just did large loops and barrel rolls. This was followed by a dog fight before returning home to Lincolnshire. As a nice touch, I was then greeted by my wife, who they invited as a VIP liney to see me in. What a day.

Every now and then, us aircraft technicians got the chance to take these 'back seaters' as a reward. They don't come around often.
