This video shows you how to install new front outer tie rods from TRQ on your 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Outer tie rods, sometimes referred to as “tie rod ends,” connect the steering rack to the steering knuckle. Their joints can wear out over time, causing loose steering, vibrations, and uneven tire wear. They are also a common failure point in localities with safety inspections.

Estimated installation time for a professional technician is approximately: 42 minutes

This repair was done on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
