This is a story of the central character, Kunti, who is the mother of the heroes of the epic. Kunti's first son Karna is born out of wedlock. She gave birth to three sons Udhistira, Bhim and Arjuna for King Pandu. But, their fathers are three different gods - Dharma Deva, Vayu Deva and Indra Deva. Kunti helped another wife of Pandu, Madri to give birth to Nakula and Sahadeva, the sons of Ashwini Kumars.

This series of stories are a part of the stories made on different characters of Mahabharat. Kunti herself was born as Prtithu and was named after her god-father Kuntibhoj.
