Naniniwala ang isang opisyal ng Office of Civil Defense na hindi pa handa ang Metro Manila at mga karatig-lugar sakaling tumama ang magnitude 7.2 na lindol o ang tinatawag na ‘The Big One’.

Kaugnay nito, muling magsasagawa ng nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill ang ahensya para mapataas ang kamalayan at kahandaan ng publiko.
