Requesting a Signature from a Single Recipient

Open the Brisk Sign dashboard and select Request Signatures to launch the Request Signatures Wizard. Upload your PDF file, then add your recipient’s name and email address. Customize the message if needed, and place signature and other fields by dragging them onto the document. When ready, click Send to Sign to send the request.

To get started, open your Brisk Sign dashboard and click Request Signatures. You can also access this by selecting Request Signatures Wizard from the left-hand menu. This opens the guided process for sending documents out for signing.

Start by uploading your document. You can drag and drop your PDF file into the upload area or click Upload Files to select it from your computer. Upload multiple files at once or click Add More Documents to add signatures to more than one file. Click Upload File or Combine and Upload Files to continue.

After uploading, you can preview your document by hovering over the file and clicking View. When everything looks correct, click Next to continue.

Next, add your recipient. Enter the name and email address of the person who will be signing the document.. Click Next to proceed.

You’ll then see the message that will be sent to your recipient. You can edit the email message to include custom instructions or use the default text. When you’re satisfied, click Next.

Now it’s time to prepare the document for signing. On the left side of the screen, you’ll find a list of available document fields, such as signature, initials, and name fields. Simply drag and drop the fields onto the document where needed. You can resize any field by dragging the lower-right corner, and you can add multiple instances of the same field if required. If you need to remove a field, click the trash icon next to it in the Included Fields list.

To personalize your document, you can add your business logo. Open the Business Logo section, click Upload Your Logo, and select your logo file. Once uploaded, you can drag and drop it into the document. Your logo will be saved and available for future use.

You can also add pre-made stamps such as Approved, Completed, Confidential, or Denied from the Stamps section. Include any additional comments or instructions in the Document Notes area at the bottom of the screen.

Once everything is ready, click Send to Sign to send the document to your recipient and finalize the request. If you’re not ready to send it yet, click the small arrow next to Send to Sign and select Save as Draft so you can return to it later.
