2013 - 2019 Cadillac XTS - How To Reset Oil Life Light - Clear Change Engine Oil Soon

A quick video on how to reset the oil life light on a 2013 - 2019 Cadillac XTS.

How to Reset the Engine Oil Life System:
1. Using the DIC controls on the right side of the steering wheel, display REMAINING OIL LIFE on the DIC. See Driver Information Center (DIC) 0 134. When remaining oil life is low, the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will appear on the display.
2. Press SEL on the DIC controls and hold SEL down for a few seconds to clear the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message and reset the oil life at 100%.

You should reset the system whenever the engine oil is changed so that the system can properly calculate the next engine oil change.
