Day 3 in Cairo – Part 2 🇪🇬

We hosted an Eid party for orphans who fled Gaza, many of whom have suffered unimaginable trauma — some with visible injuries, missing limbs, and deep emotional wounds. After everything they’ve endured, they deserve joy. They deserve dignity.

This wasn’t just any party — ‪@DropletsofMercyUSA‬ brought balloons, music, gifts, decorations, and the most beautiful venue to remind these children that they are loved, seen, and celebrated.

But behind the smiles and laughter, the reality is heavy. It’s one thing to read the news. It’s another to see a child without an arm face to face. To see their wounds. To look in their eyes and know they carry pain no child should ever know.

This work is emotional. It’s mentally hard. But it’s necessary.
