Moviestuff Bankrupt $6500 DV8 Sniper 8mm Film Transfer Scanner = Shyte

Описание к видео Moviestuff Bankrupt $6500 DV8 Sniper 8mm Film Transfer Scanner = Shyte

This video is from 2008, showing the Moviestuff DV8 Sniper as it was called made by a company called Moviestuff LLC which was owned by Roger Evan’s and has now gone bankrupt and swindled customers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars as of March 2024.

I feel compelled to rewrite the description as many people have been swindled by this guy/company.

The story to this video was to showcase the ‘tech’ and this was posted before Google even owned YouTube. We ordered 4 of these units at $6500 back in 2008 and upon opening the box thought we had been ripped off. Cheap plastic Ansco 1970’s projector bolted to a wooden frame and captured by a hacked security camera. Images were blown out, software was terrible, plastic pieces were worn out quickly and the owner Roger was a cocky SOB back then and if you questioned the poor engineering, software or anything giving feedback he snapped back and you had to tread lightly because he was basically the only company making somewhat affordable ‘scanners’

After ‘trying’ to use these pieces of crap scanners, I listed them all for sale on eBay and promptly sold them and wiped my hands of them and that guy/company.

My condolences to all the people affected by the ‘bankruptcy’ of Moviestuff.
