Being the first person with an intellectual disability to have served on Capitol Hill and also being a Global Messenger is impressive for the brightest of sparks, let alone someone with Down syndrome… but these are just a few of David Egan’s many achievements. The proud Washington man is educated, active, independent and has been employed for 20 years… he has never let his disability define him. David's so determined to improve the future of Down syndrome, he’s off to meet Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers and spread the message of inclusion.
