here is a film of the boss dd-8 digital delay pedal. this guitar pedal features 11 modes, which are analog, standard, warm, tape, reverse, +rv, shimmer, mod, warp, glt & loop. this delay includes stereo out, a looper, tap tempo, modulation & much more. this pedal is capable of sounds & tones of many different genres, such as ambient, indie, shoegaze, dream pop, post-rock, blues & grunge. use this pedal solo, or add to your effects pedal set up / rig & on your pedalboard with effects like reverb, delay, tremolo, phaser, overdrive, fuzz, distortion, chorus, pitch shifter & flanger. the guitar i used is a fender kurt cobain jaguar & the amp a roland jc-40. the roland jc-40 is one of the options in the roland jazz chorus family, alongside others like the jc-20, jc-22, jc-50, jc-55, jc-77, jc-85, jc-120, jc-160 & jc 200. in this video i create slowdive-like sounds with just this one pedal & the jazz chorus amp. slowdive are known for songs such as ‘souvlaki space station,’ ‘when the sun hits,’ ‘alison,’ ‘golden hair’ {syd barrett cover}, ‘star roving,’ ‘crazy for you,’ ‘sugar for the pill’ & many others on albums such as ‘souvlaki’ & ‘pygmalion.’ support the band’s music in the links above, including links to full albums.
