In this episode, as promised, I talk about how to start from scratch and how to create sacred spaces for ourselves for self regulation, meditation, mindfulness practices, safety, relaxation and healing.
I found that having a sacred space like that in our home can be really beneficial, not just on a daily basis for us on our mindfulness and spiritual journeys but it can also be very helpful when we are on an emotional healing journey for example.
To have a safe and tranquil space that is our own, where we can reconnect with ourselves, where we feel completely safe and secure, where we can relax, reset our nervous system, where we can dream, create, set goals, and visualise an amazing life for ourselves is truly important, even life changing and is certainly a need for the spiritual self.
What this sanctuary, this sacred space looks like will be different for each of us. And that is okay.
