MY SURGERY | FIRST PERSON IN THE WORLD!

Trigger warning, scenes from varicose vein surgery. I am officially the first person in the world to have both Echotherapy with SONOVEIN treatment & EVLA treatment all done in ONE day! For several years I’ve suffered with an itchy, heavy and painful right leg which also then developed restless leg syndrome. After the birth of my daughter I noticed that my veins had unfortunately got worse in my leg and I’d developed them in my pelvic region, this was when I decided to do something about them.

Varicose veins aren’t exactly a ‘sexy subject’ which is why I wanted to share my journey with you because while they might not be sexy taking care of them while your young can dramatically improve your future health. I remember my grandparents and nana all having ulcers bandaged on their legs and I don’t want to turn out the same way. Varicose veins are mostly genetic, you can be super fit, In good shape and still get them, they don’t discriminate. I’ve filmed the entire procedure, including the pelvic procedure I had back in December because I want you to realise that you CAN do something about them. The biggest thank you to The Whiteley Clinic for giving me the opportunity to improve my health and for letting me be your case study, I’m the the first person to try two different procedures which means I can give a truthful opinion on which works best and which is the most comfortable to go through.
