The "new thinking" is that O2 sensors actually do not detect O2 as traditionally thought (and taught) but rather, they actually detect hydrocarbon. But not everyone agrees with this.
A review of the arguments and evidence for each side is covered and then I conclude with a scientific experiment to finally determine which side is correct.
