হাটে বিপুল পরিমাণ কলার সরবরাহ হলেও পাইকার না থাকায় দাম পাচ্ছেন না নওগাঁর চাষিরা। বন্যায় কলাবাগান পানিতে তলিয়ে যাওয়ায় নষ্ট হওয়ার আগেই কলা বিক্রির জন্য হাটে তুলছেন তারা। কাঙ্খিত দর না পাওয়ায় লোকসানের কথা বলছেন চাষিরা। হাটে জলাবদ্ধতা দূর করা সহ স্থায়ী শেড নির্মাণের দাবি জানিয়েছেন স্থানীয়রা। নওগাঁ থেকে এম আর রকি'র রিপোট।

They are taking the bananas to the market to sell before they are destroyed due to the flood. Farmers are talking about losses due to not getting the desired price.
