STILL ORIGINAL! :) Dover Traditional Traction Elevators at the Hilton Tampa Airport in Tampa, FL

Here is a LONG OVERDUE 2022 Retake of what are WITHOUT A DOUBT some of my favorite elevators in the Tampa Bay Region! Installed in 1982, aside from the Cabs being Redone in 2018-2019 and floor passing chimes being added, these elevators remain FULLY ORIGINAL to when the hotel opened 41 YEARS AGO, which is VERY surprising given how strict building codes here in thr Central Florida area which has resulted in many elevator systems from the same era being modded in most hotels (and buildings in general) that were built around the same time as this place. As a matter of fact, from what I can tell this is actually the VERY LAST Big 80s era Convention Center Hotel left in Central Florida with its original elevators, all of the other ones in Tampa and Orlando are modded now, some of which have been for over a decade. As to how much longer these elevators have, I have no idea, but I'm definitely enjoying these while I'm able to as I'm certainly surprised that they're STILL NOT MODDED!!! Hopefully I'm not jinxing it when I say that but we shall see.
In addition to getting rides on the Main Elevators, this video also features a ride on the NEVER BEFORE SEEN Service Elevator, which DOESN'T have the added floor passing chimes, and unlike most Dovers' in Florida is actually STILL LABELED as a DOVER!!! NOT Miami!
These elevators are just a TON of fun and very original and full of character, which is why I love them so much, and whoever is maintaining these is doing an excellent job as the buttons and just about everything about these is in EXCELLENT Shape minus the indicators!
