Mrinalini Darswal, IAS, emphasised that women officers often outperform their male peers in crisis management and work ethic, yet still face barriers in leading key ministries. Rashmi Singh, IAS, noted women’s empathetic leadership during sensitive times like military escalations in Kashmir, while also praising their strategic thinking. Sohini Rajola of NPCI summed it up powerfully: for women, leadership means getting things done—not just symbolising power, but exercising it.
