Don't worry, we've got you covered with a step-by-step solution to revert the main branch to its original state.

We'll guide you through the process, assuming you haven't deleted the feature branch you mistakenly merged. If that's the case, follow these instructions:

1. The first step is to switch to the master branch using git checkout main.
2. Fetch the latest changes from the remote repository to ensure you have the most up-to-date version with git pull.
3. Use git reflog to retrieve the commit ID that represents the state you want to revert to. Find the desired commit in the list.
3. Revert to the specific commit ID by executing git reset --hard commit-id. Replace commit-id with the actual commit ID you found earlier.
4. Finally, force-push the changes to the main branch in the GitHub repository using git push origin main --force.
