Introducing The Award Winners Of the Off the Wall 2024 Show!

MFA (Maryland Federation of Art) invited all artists to enter its 3-D free-standing Off the Wall exhibition, which was open to artists residing in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico. All eligible fine art entries in any media were considered by the juror. Selected works are displayed in the MFA organized exhibition at Maryland Hall’s Earl Gallery in Annapolis, MD from July 12 to August 15.

For this exhibition, artists were asked to compile and upload their in-progress sketches/photographs or anything that aided the viewer in understanding the production of their work. They were able to add these to the images of their finished work when applying for the call. If these were not part of their creative process, artists were also allowed to upload a brief description of what went into their creative process when producing the work. These were not necessary and did not affect the jurying process, but if the work was selected, the description/production notes were displayed alongside the finished work. The organizers hoped this would create a more robust exhibition and add interesting visual facets to the exhibition as a whole.

A special thank you to our juror, Cher Pruys, an artist, educator, and art activist.
