Hoppy Irish Red Ale Grainfather Brewday

In this full brewday video I brew a Hoppy Irish Red Ale using rye malt. It is a recipe I love to brew around this time (Jan/Feb). This recipe and brewday was actually inspired by 'Wildfire Hoppy Red Ale' from Wicklow Wolf Brewery in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

I get to chat with John Allen, Production Manager from Wicklow Wolf who talks about the brewery a year on, their beers and some of the challenges the craft beer industry has faced over the last year.
