Описание к видео 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ1 (GTZ1)

Video taken at Lemay/ACM in Tacoma, WA.

First presented at the 1962 Turin Auto Show, the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ (Tubalore Zagato) was a limited-production sports car and racing car built by Alfa from 1962-1967. Although the TZ1 shared a twin-cam engine and other components with the 105 series Giulia, it was in fact a purpose-built sports racer with tubular space frame chassis from aircraft manufacturer SAI (Societa Arenotica Italiana), all aluminum coachwork by Zagato, and final assembly by Delta of Udine (predecessor to Autodelta).

This GTZ1 (chassis 070) is one of just 104 built, and was raced in the 1965 SCCA West Coast Regional C Production Championship by its second owner.
