Questions are being asked as to why a man suspected of carrying out a chemical attack in London was granted asylum.

Abdul Ezedi converted to Christianity after being convicted of two sex crimes in 2018 and was subsequently given asylum to stay in the UK.

Police have urged Ezedi to contact to them after a woman and her two children were doused in an alkaline substance on Wednesday evening.
