My Dad needed stable transport to cruise around with, so I started building him a electric tricycle from parts we had lying around. Then I was contacted by a real ebike manufacturer to try out one of their electrically assisted bicycles. When I saw that they also made trikes just like the one I was already building, I realized that this could get much more interesting. Now it was a competition!
