Alright, so, this is a reupload of the translation I posted yesterday due to getting a friend (galagotchi on twitter), who knows Japanese better than me, to check my translation. Turns out that, surprise surprise, my amateur translation was off in some parts. This is an updated version of that translation according to her critiques, so hopefully it's a bit more accurate.

First time hard subbing and actually posting a translation of mine! I found this song a few days ago, and was extremely disappointed in the lack of any English translation. So I took matters into my own (amateur) hands. You're free to do whatever you want with this translation, so long as you leave credit to me for the translation.
Disclaimer: I DO NOT SPEAK JAPANESE, EVEN AT A CONVERSATIONAL LEVEL. There are most likely errors, which you can feel free to correct me on, but please do not take this translation as gospel. Also note that I did take some liberties with some parts of the translation to make it sound a bit better in English. Thank you.
Anyways, here's the English lyrics (with translation notes at the end):
The voices from the open window
are increasingly drowned out
I had loved this small world
where even someone like me could shine...
Come on, today let's go deep into the cave
After all, places filled with sunlight
are boring, aren't they?
Let's gear up and set out
That's right, we're adventurers
Hey, I'm the only one who truly understands you
The world has always been like that, right?
It softly illuminated me from within the futon
I am *
the greatest freak! **
I wanna live
In the sky!(?)
Let me say goodbye to all the rabble
I don't want to hear about that
suffocating outside world anymore
ZIP!
ZIP!!
ZIP!!!
I wanna bury myself in a sweet world
That's painful ← I wanna cry
Surely everyone will point their fingers at me
But it just can't be helped
This is just the type of resolution
that suits me just fine
In fact, I told myself
“You need to wake up”
Why?
Why?
Why?
While I was at my lowest point
Cross outs, cross outs
were suddenly all I could see
In this faint light, truly
I am the GOAT ***
How long have I been hiding?
I've completely forgotten by now
The unopened messages
The growing emptiness...
What comes next
is pointless anyways
So don't think about it
That's why tonight again
GOAT!
I'm a freak
I want to live
In the sky!(?)
So let me say goodbye to the outside rabble
Because I want you to acknowledge me
The beloved pixels of my miniature world
JACK! ****
JACK!!
JACK!!!
Do you truly want to quit already?
I want to live, I want to go back
Being comforted by these fabricated lies
It just won’t do, will it?
I figured all along
Because the light reflected in those eyes
wasn't mine to begin with...
| Translation notes |
\* This isn’t a direct translation here, as "わたしを" would more accurately be translated as “me” since it’s most likely a repetition from the previous line and “を” does not translate into “am”. So, I decided to change it a bit to make it sound less awkward in English, and to lead into the next line.
** So I took a major liberty with this part of the translation. The actual word used here is "変異体", which directly translates to "mutant". If you look up the word everything that shows up uses the word fairly literally. As in, referring to animals or plants with mutations. Although, I felt like "freak" fit the vibe I was getting from the line. If that makes sense.
*** Yes, this is straight up using "GOAT" as in calling something "goated". It is an acronym for "Greatest Of All Time".
**** Not entirely sure what this means here? I'm thinking either hijack or a headphone jack. But neither of these make any sense to me, so I'm thinking it might just be something else entirely that I missed. Maybe it's supposed to be a more "harsh" version of "チャック", which I've translated here as being a zipper noise. Who knows.
