Bishop Stuart Bell shares about his recent diagnosis of stage 4 cancer following a number of years undergoing treatment. As he shares, he takes the opportunity to encourage the listener regarding the eternal hope he is carrying because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Stuart also brings us up to date with Fellowship 345 in Rhydypennau (north of Aberystwyth in Wales), and the work that has started to appoint a new salaried part-time leader of the congregation.

Despite his deep sense of disappointment as he looks out across Wales, seeing the decline of the traditional denominations, Stuart also shares the great sense of excitement he is carrying – the excitement at seeing the emergence of new Gospel-centred initiatives that preach and share the Gospel across every part of Wales. A great part of this encouragement is the 100.Cymru initiative with a vision to plant 100 Gospel communities across Wales over a 10 year period.

Stuart was appointed as a Bishop in the Anglican Convocation in Europe in 2021, and shares in this conversation how ACE is building momentum in Wales, further adding to his encouragement that God is at work in Wales. He shares about “The Diocese of the Celtic Cross”, and how he is experiencing first-hand the signs of growth and expansion of The Diocese which is yet another real encouragement to him. He is seeing more and more people encounter the love of God, and putting their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

🙏🏻 "What is God Doing in Wales?" is a channel hosting conversations with Christian leaders and visionaries across Wales. Rather having a fragmented view of how God is moving in Wales - the channel aims to 'join the dots' so Christians can be encouraged by not only hearing that God IS moving across this land, but also HOW he is moving - where is he working and what is he doing?

🥳 The channel also includes the stories of ordinary people who have come to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ and what He has done for them to bring them into a loving relationship with God. They've come to understand why Jesus died on the cross and was ressurrected 3 days later and why that is relevant to their lives. They have put their faith in Jesus as a result of hearing the Gospel, and are now following him. These videos are in the Playlist 'Testimonies'

🌾 The channel also has interviews in the Welsh-language. These videos are particularly exciting to Welsh-speaking Christians because they share about the new work that is happening across Wales with Welsh-language church-planting initiatives taking place.

🙏🏻 Wales is known as 'The Land of Revival' for good reason! Historically there have been 15 significant revivals in the 16th & 17th centuries, in addition to the famous 1904 revival. This channel has conversations with leaders about Welsh Revival history, but from the perspective of looking at the heroes of Welsh revival and seeing what we can learn from their lives and their ministries - so that it will help us as individuals, as well as the church as a whole position ourselves for what God is doing today.
