FODB-8 is installed with adapters, splitters, drop cable patchcords, pole bandings, and fiber cable slack storage.

FTTH fiber optic distribution box FODB-8 other called gel sealed FTTH termination box designed to terminate feeding optical cable and connect last mile cables as fiber optical patch cords according to capacity of distribution box.

The products key features:

1. Two splice trays, for two layers of connection. Such design protects the bottom splicing layer from damages, during fiber access deployment.
2. Bottom tray - for cable’s slicing, top tray - for drop cable connection.
3. Top tray may accommodate up to 10 of regular SC adapters
4. Watch the fiber optic cable preparation process.
5. The given example of fiber cable configuration contains two FRP rods, loose tube with gel protection.
6. Measure the required length of fiber, and place it in the bottom tray.
7. Fasten the feeding fiber optic cable with the box by nylon ties.
8. After insertion of feeding cable, lock the reinforced FRP rods by screws, as shown.
9. Protect the loose tube with fiber by insolation tape and attach it to the bottom tray.
10. Splice the fiber cable with the PLC splitter by standard heat shrink tube.
11. Place the PLC splitter into the bottom tray, without bending of fiber cores.
12. Connect the splitter’s heads to the SC sockets.
13. Insert the drop cable cords into the SC sockets.
14. No more traditional insulation required, just locate drop cables in the gel sealing rubber outlets, secure then by nylon ties.
15. Lock the empty outlets by plastic accessories.
16. Mount the box with the convenient accessory depending on the setting area. Those maybe: walls, pole.
17. Attachment may be realized by screws, stainless steel bandings or perforated ties, cable slack storage bracket YK-SX.
18. Quick and simple installation of FTTH drop cables is guaranteed.
