Описание к видео The Sight-Liberating Naropa Ceremony in 2004 ( Part I )

His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa, the spiritual leader of the glorious Drukpa Lineage, and his predecessors are revered as the authentic reincarnations of Naropa, the eleventh-century saint of historical India.

As the people of Ladakh and the Himalayas follow very much the Drukpa tradition, due to Naropa's blessings, His Holiness held the Sight-Liberating Naropa Ceremony where he put on the priceless Six Bone Ornaments of Naropa, three times in Ladakh (Norther India), and the most recent one just took place on 2nd July 2004.

This video gives an idea about the events that took place before and during the Naropa Ceremony. It includes interesting comments by His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa on the Ceremony and his feeling about giving nuns a fair chance to receive the same trainings as monks.
