Welcome everyone, come along on my scenic byway travels along the TAMIAMI trail in South Florida. Hwy 41 also known as the TAMIAMI Trail, it is 90 miles long from Miami to Naples and goes right through the heart of the Everglades. This is Floridas most iconic and scenic hwy and here in Florida we have 9 scenic byways. So if you are looking for a travel guide for the best attractions along this beautiful and relaxing scenic backroads here are my favorite top ten attractions.
There are many hidden gems in South Florida in both the Everglades and Big Cypress Preserve and the art of slow travel along backroads will open up this special area to the wandering traveler.
We will be driving several loop
roads as well so here is my itinerary:

1. Drive the Shark Valley loop road in the Everglades Nat Park. Tram tour.
2. Visit Oasis visitor center. Florida trail terminus.
3. Drive the loop road starting at Monroe Station.
4. Hike the Gator Hook trail.
5. Hike the Tree Snail Hammock road.
6. Clyde Butcher Gallery.
7. Drive the Burton Road loop.
8. Visit Nathaniel P. Reed Nature Center.
9. Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk trail at Fakahatchee Strand State Park.
10. Smallwood General Store Museum on Chokoloskee Island.
