Color Factory | Houston, Texas

Color Factory is a collaborative interactive exhibit that debuted in San Francisco in 2017 and New York in 2018. What was intended as a month-long run unexpectedly flourished as a celebration of color and creativity that’s lasted over 2 years.

In October 2019, a whole new palette came to Houston in the Upper Kirby neighborhood. In over 20,000 square feet it features participatory installations of colors collected from around the city (and space!) - hues that invite curiosity, discovery, and play. Some of the favorite local artists, creatives, designers, and makers teamed up to tell their unique color stories and engage all of the senses in unexpected ways.

The palette and projects offered within Color Factory are intended to connect guests to the colorful moments around Houston and in their own daily lives.
