Mennonite Homemaker Days in my Kitchen! | Early Fall Canning & Baking Sourdough

Today I'm sharing two whole days of homemaking! Mostly kitchen stuff. I needed to do some canning and baking. It Included Sourdough! I also show a bit of what it looks like to live in Sarasota.. there's still often ways to find some country life! I apologize if the video isn't always clear. Sometimes when it's dark it's hard to get the quality I like.

Haystack Meat Recipe:Hamburger Chili Sauce:
1 lb hamburger. A little bit of chopped onion. 1 1/2 pk taco seasoning. 1 tsp. chili powder. 1 1/2 cup chili beans. 6 oz. tomato juice (3/4 cup) .
Brown the hamburger and onion. add seasonings and then the rest of the ingredients. It should be a bit 'soupy'.

Cheese sauce : 1 stick of butter , melt that then add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of flour and stir until it's smooth. then slowly add milk into that, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn. After it’s smooth add velveeta cheese or similar until it’s cheesy enough!
