Young Man, Son of Noted Trader, Goes Missing After Incident

The law and order situation in Quetta has once again become alarming. On Sunday, in the Airport Road area, the son of a well-known trader, Haji Salahuddin, was abducted in broad daylight by unknown armed men.

According to eyewitnesses, the kidnappers were equipped with modern weapons and carried out the operation in a highly organized manner, forcibly pushing the young man into a vehicle and taking him to an unknown location.

Following the incident, the victim’s family is under severe mental distress. The police have registered a case and claim to have conducted raids at various locations; however, despite the passage of several hours, no trace of the abductee has been found.

The trader community and citizens have expressed serious concern over the incident and have demanded that the Inspector General of Balochistan, the SSP Quetta, and other senior officials ensure the immediate recovery of the abductee and bring those involved in the kidnapping to justice.

Citizens state that the increasing incidents of kidnapping in Quetta have raised serious questions about the law and order situation, making immediate and effective measures unavoidable.
