Although many viewers had recommended Nettoor Toddy Shop, I got the chance to visit the place only recently. As Hashmi was one of my friends who had recommended this place, I took him along with me. We saw the cooking of the typical Shappu Thala curry with Malabar tamarind. There were many varieties of seafood dishes at Nettoor Toddy Shop. Hashmi and I loved their dishes as well as the pleasant ambiance close to backwaters. I did feel that some of the dishes are a little too spicy, but it was Shappu food after all. Food in the toddy shops of Kerala is known to be spicy. So no complaints! നെട്ടൂർ ഷാപ്പിനെ കുറിച്ച് പലരും പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അവിടെ പോകാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ ആണ് ഒരു അവസരം ഒത്തു വന്നത്. ഹാഷ്മിയെയും ഒപ്പം കൂട്ടി ആണ് ഞാനും അഭിലാഷും പോയത്. ഷാപ്പിന്റെ അടുക്കളയിൽ പാചകം തകൃതിയായി നടക്കുന്നു. ഒരു ചേട്ടനും ചേച്ചിയും കൂടി ആണ് പാചകം. തലക്കറി, കരിമീൻ പൊള്ളിച്ചത്, ഞണ്ട്, മുയൽ, പോർക്ക്, ബീഫ്, എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഒട്ടു മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാ നോൺ ഐറ്റംസും ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ട്. ഞങ്ങൾ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്ത എല്ലാ കറികളും തന്നെ നല്ലതു ആയിരുന്നു. എരിവ് കുറച്ചു മുമ്പിട്ടു നിന്നു. ഷാപ്പല്ലേ. കറിക്ക് എരിവ് ഇല്ലാതെ പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ.
