It was a beautiful night performing at the Kennett Flash Open Mic last Sunday. Mark, the house percussionist, jumped up and joined me. I love his contribution to the vibe and am always impressed by his ability to play on songs he has never heard before. I am also glad that I came out of my shell after the chorus, as this is definitely a big-energy song. The crowd was so engaged, talented, and inspiring! I'm grateful to have such an awesome venue just a stone's throw away. I am already planning my songs for next month and I hope to see you there!

The lyrics of "Bad Memories" came to me just before spring. I brought them to life through the guitar over the summer. It is a breakup song and a prequel to "Steadfast, How You Love Me"-- my acoustic album of love songs, which I am currently self-recording.
