Still made in the USA. It has an LG compressor and a GE fan motor. Made by White Consolidated Industries in February of 2000. WCI was a part of Electrolux since 1986, however they were still their own comapny, manufacturing things their way, using their own designs. Electrolux was the parent company, but they really had nothing to do with WCI ,except they helped WCI improve their manufacturing, until the early 2000's when the company was folded. WCI was one of three major appliance giants in the USA, right behind GE and Whirlpool.
