A Pier for Many Purposes - a short history of Eastbourne Pier, especially aimed at history students.

When Vision For Eastbourne was approached by a local school asking for information on the Pier with which to teach their students, it transpired that awareness of local history is a key part of the syllabus.

So, with a view to exciting and educating future generations with a love for our local history, in association with popular local history enthusiast Alan Wenham we produced this video.

We hope it is of interest and help, not only to the students who are studying the pier as part of their local history lessons, but to everyone else who discovers and watches this presentation.
