Скачать или смотреть E-Collar on my Great Dane for emergencies. Cruel or okay?

I’m still not convinced about an e-collar on Remi, even though it’s for EMERGENCY RECALL ONLY.

Here’s why I use it:
🐶 I have mobility issues that effects my balance
🐶 If I lose my balance and tense up, Remi reacts and is “trying” to protect me
🐶 If Remi bolts, I LITERALLY can’t chase him


It’s a safety tool for emergency situations right now.
We trained with a professional dog trainer first who insists on the e-collor
It’s not active punishment - it’s there “just in case”

The e-collar debate gets heated, but what about using it as a safety backup? Some say any e-collar for dogs is cruel. Others say it’s not !!
So I’m asking YOU about
❓ Is keeping an e-collar on for emergencies different than active training?
❓ As someone with a disability, am I wrong for prioritizing safety?
❓ What would YOU do with a Great Dane you can’t physically control?

I would love hear your thoughts . Is the emergency e-collar use okay or is not.
