I raise serious concerns regarding the circumstances that led to resignation from AngelOne Angel One which I wish to place on record as a forced and unethical act orchestrated by the HR team. 😡 😡 😡
As part of the recent wave of forced resignations, it has become painfully clear that the decision-making process was not based on performance or merit, but rather on internal favoritism and office politics. Many dedicated employees—including myself—were asked to resign without cause, while individuals with family relations (brothers, sisters, cousins, and close contacts) within the organization, especially those connected to management or specific teams, have been allowed to continue without question.
This clearly indicates a pattern of nepotism, where employment security depends more on personal connections than professional capability. It is demotivating and unethical that:
Employees with no internal references or family ties were targeted for resignation,
Those who were part of management’s inner circle or family network were protected,
Internal job support was falsely promised, and no real assistance was given even through external consultants,
The entire process lacked transparency, fairness, and due diligence.
Such practices go against the core values any responsible organization should uphold. The emotional, financial, and mental distress caused by these biased decisions is significant.
I am formally requesting:
👉 A written explanation of the criteria used for the recent force resignations,
👉 Clarification on why family-connected employees were retained while others were removed,
👉 The actual reason behind the forced resignation,
Why false commitments were made and not honored,
Additionally, I would like to highlight the false commitments made by HR and management, including:
Assurances that employees would be supported with internal job transfers,
Promises that an external consultancy would assist with job placements post-exit. Unfortunately, none of these commitments were fulfilled. Not a single employee was offered an internal role, and no external job support was provided. This has left many of us in a state of emotional distress and financial instability.
These actions reflect a complete failure of ethical responsibility, transparency, and employee care by the HR department and leadership at AngelOne.
I am also preserving all related records and communications, including audio proofs of HR conversations, for possible escalation to labor authorities or legal support if necessary.
