When Evan Goodrow returned to the Fallout Shelter stage in September 2023 it had been a couple years since we had seen him so everyone in the SOLD OUT room was pretty stoked. What ensued that evening was a funk-soul-blues 'beat-down' jam for the ages. The funk dual between Bobby Bryan - keyboards and Derek Hayden - congas, percussion was just epic and the rhythm section of Greg Toro - bass and David Moore - drums rivaled anything we've seen at The Fallout Shelter. When you throw in Goodrow's incredible guitar riffs and his soulful voice you have an evening of music that will leave you breathless, exhausted and fulfilled that you've just seen music performed at it's highest level!

In 2024 Evan showed up with a stripped down version of the Evan Goodrow Experience. That incredible quartet featured Charlie O'Neal on guitar, Greg Toro on bass and Derek Hayden on percussion and they crushed it! No telling who Evan will be bringing this year but you can be assured it will be some of the best players in the city as it always is.

Evan Goodrow is an American singer-songwriter-guitarist and has written and produced 18 recordings of original soul, funk, blues and rock music.

He’s won the Boston Blues Award, played concerts for Marines on Nato bases in Europe and even jammed with Jimmy Buffet multiple occasions in the Caribbean. played multiple shows with B.B. King and even sang for the Yardbirds (technically making him the youngest Yardbird, ever).

Born in Ohio and raised north of Boston, he got his start playing jazz guitar and singing acoustic folk in coffee houses in the early 2000’s but quickly grabbed a funk rhythm section and a saxophone player and began touring around New England playing blues and jam venues and festivals.

His version of the Phil Collins classic "In The Air Tonight" is a biblical experience!!

His single “Let Me” (from 2010’s “Say It”) was on Amazon’s most downloaded “independent” singles.

In 2008 he was chosen to bring a band to Europe to play Nato bases for military troops in the Middle East conflict and was an official representative for “Support Us” an independent long distance United States Military Voting initiative.
He also headlined Deval Patricks inauguration concert in Boston MA that same year.

The Fallout Shelter is an all ages performance venue welcoming worldwide, world class music in an intimate setting. Our studio audience attends to watch the creation and production of the music television series The Extended Play Sessions. The Fallout Shelter events are immersive experiences for both audience and performers alike...a live music experience like no other. We are fully ADA compliant and have wheelchair access. We have a wide selection of beer and wine for your adult beverage pleasures and each show comes with a free commemorative event poster. Our doors open at 6PM. Seating is General Admission.
