The Police - When The World Is Running Down (Guitar Cover)

"When the World Is Running Down written by Sting and first released by English rock band the Police on their 1980 album Zenyatta Mondatta. I love Andy Summers sound and tone with his Telecasters.

The song is in G Major and revolves around 3 chord shapes, if you listen closely you'll hear some finger tapping which I did not play but i hear several finger tapped notes.

Equipment used to Record the Audio and Video: I used my stock Fender American Deluxe Telecaster in Candy Apple Red, with Ernie Ball 09 - 042 strings. I always use a Fractal Audio FX III on the guitar tracks which are recorded direct into PreSonus Studio One. I generally try and record every guitar part and typically don't use many effects other than Delay. On the mix I use compression and reverb.

On the video I use my iPhone 12 to record the video, edit that in Adobe Premiere Elements, drop out the iPhone audio and import my mixdown audio track from Studio One. Hope you enjoy and ask any questions.
