Описание к видео Saying “Sorry” in an Interview Can Actually Help You | UPSC Interview Reality | Vijender Masijeevi

Most candidates prepare answers for interviews, but very few prepare for uncertainty, silence, or doubt.

In this video, I share a lesser-known interview truth from years of observing candidates across multiple interview boards. Saying “sorry” or admitting that you do not know an answer does not automatically harm your performance. In fact, in many cases, it reflects maturity, honesty, and credibility.

Interview panels are not looking for perfect encyclopedias. They are assessing judgment, integrity, and self-awareness. Claiming knowledge you do not fully possess is far more damaging than calmly accepting a gap in understanding.

This video explains:
• Why saying “sorry” is not always negative in interviews
• How interview boards actually interpret confidence
• The psychological dynamics inside an interview panel
• Why false claims of knowledge are a bigger red flag than silence
• How good candidates fail by overcompensating

Whether you are preparing for UPSC interviews, civil services, academic panels, corporate interviews, or any high-stakes selection process, this insight will help you approach interviews with clarity and balance.

Interviews do not fail people. People fail themselves by pretending.
