How to find firestarter wood when it's wet!
This time of the year everything in nature is more or less wet and it’s not always so easy to make a fire with wet wood. In Northern Sweden we are lucky to have lots of pine trees which give us the magic firestarter wood called fatwood. Fatwood is maybe the best fire starter you can find. This kind of wood is naturally impregnated with resin and because of that it will not absorb any water. The tinder from fatwood burns like magic all year around, also in the most rainy and wet days. In this video Matti will show you how to find fatwood, the best firestarter. This is a good bushcraft and survival skill.
