Panch Kedar Trek (Kedarnath, Rudranath, Tungnath, Madhyamaheshwar & Kalpeshwar) are five treks to five different temples which are dedicated to Lord Shiva. these five temples are situated in various parts of Uttarakhand. I started my Panch Kedar yatra from Kedarnath trek which is most prominent among these five temples. Kedarnath is also considered as forest Kedar.

The second Kedar is Madhyamaheshwar. Madhyamaheshwar is located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. You have to trek for about 15 from Ransi to reach Madhyamaheshwar temple. Ransi is 20 kms from Ukhimath.

The third temple in Panch Kedar is Tungnath. Tungnath is considered as the highest Shiva temple in the world. This is a 4km long trek which starts from Chopta.

Fourth temple in Panch Kedar is Rudranath. Rudranath is most difficult among Panch Kedar Trek. You have to trek 22km to reach the Rudranath temple. this trek can be a little challenging as some of the parts are very steep.

The fifth Kedar is Kalpeshwar. Kalpeshwar is probably most easily accessible Kedar. You can reach here by car. This temple is located near Joshimath.
