Robotic Palletising/Board Handling System

The Robotic Palletising/Board Handling System is designed to clean, stack, and strap bundles of boards into stacks corresponding to board length. Stacks of boards are first loaded onto the Infeed Conveyors using a forklift. The Infeed Conveyor System consists of three powered chain conveyor sections and a driven hydraulic scissor lift. The Infeed Conveyor System can hold up to four stacks of boards, with a fifth stack on the scissor lift. Sensors are mounted at each accumulation position to determine when a stack is in position and to allow them to index automatically.
