Star Wars Battlefront II (PC) HD: Best Mods & Maps: The Battle of Christophsis

WATCH IN HD! This is The Battle of Christophsis 2.0 by ForceMaster, the first ever map I reviewed on my channel. The map is a campaign mission map which is based on the opening battle in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie. In order to complete the mission there are 10 objectives that must be fulfilled, some are easier than others.
The map itself looks spectacular, the buildings and layout are extremely well detailed and stay very faithful to the source material in the Clone Wars movie making this a very enjoyable experience.
You can only play as the Republic side which features some cool new units such as Captain Rex and Commander Cody as well as a Star Wars: The Clone Wars-style Obi-Wan Kenobi as a playable hero. There is also a similarly TCW-style Anakin Skywalker that will assist in the battle as AI alongside some 501st Jet Troopers.
There is a wide selection of enemies you face in this map including some excellently well modeled Tri-Droids as well as Dwarf Spider Droids and Retail Droids too. The AAT tanks have also been reskinned to look more like the SW: TCW style ones we are used to seeing which is fantastic.
That's not all though, the map even features the Battle of Christophsis soundtrack as in-game music which is very nice touch too.
All of this makes for some fantastic new content, unfortunately the map is fairly buggy. One such bug is that the map is supposed to feature a new opening movie cutscene however we just get the Polis Massa mission's cutscene from the main campaign. Some of the objectives can also be rendered impossible to complete if the shield generator or the barriers are destroyed too early in the battle. The rep.lvl was also corrupted when I downloaded the map so I had to replace it manually. Also Captain Rex can fly as if he has a jetpack when he actually doesn't. If you can overlook the bugs though, I highly recommend you check this map especially if you are a Star Wars: The Clone Wars fan like I am.
