In this video we introduce how to say "went" (not using a vehicle) in Russian. It's a basic tutorial, accessible to beginners with Russian verbs of motion who haven't yet studied verbal aspect.

Our focus is on using past tense forms of ходить and пойти to describe round trips vs. setting off, heading off, with no mention of a return. The difference is important in Russian!
