Journey to the West | Chasing COVID Ride EP 2: Taking on Teocalli Ridge

Teocalli Ridge Loop Mountain Bike Trail in Crested Butte, Colorado
The ride start climbing up West Brush Creek Road, beautiful view along the way. Once you get to the end of West Brush Creek Road, that's where the hike-a-bike singletrack start. This is rideable if you have the lung and legs of steel, but for most non-local it's a hike-a-bike up to the top.

It's all down from the top of Teocalli Ridge, the trail begin with a gradual downhill with rocks/roots which becomes faster and into several switchbacks. Be careful as some of the switchbacks can be dusty to blind your eyes and comes very close to the steep mountainside. The trail then opens up into a fast flow down to Brush Creek Road/Pearl Pass.
